NO MORE STARCOINS

Today I was browsing through the public Starbazaar, when of all a sudden I came across a lovely orange wig

"350 Starcoins? Not bad" I thought. Quite the bargain if I do say so myself, so I went on with my purchase, when suddenly, THIS message appeared on my screen...

So, just because whoever is selling this wig has the max amount of Starcoins, I'm forbidden to purchase it. This raises a few questions in my mind-

• Why does Stardoll have a max limit on Starcoins?
• Why is the seller selling things for Starcoins when he/she already has the max amount
• WHY WON'T YOU JUST LET ME BUY THE WIG?!

Thoughts on this matter?

Essentials

I'm pretty sure everyone on Stardoll has their personal favourite items, the ones they cherish oh so dearly and find it difficult to drag off their dolls. I like to call these items, our "essentials". It is essential that we wear them.

Mine, for example, are as follows;

They are

• Fallen Angel High Heel Ankle Boots w/ Studs
• Fallen Angel Cross Necklace
• Sunny Bunny Dolly Lola Hair

I adore these items with all my heart. The way the boots add an edge to any outfit and the amazing effect when you stack them up. The way the cross necklace brings a meaningful, religious, darkness to any outfit. The way the wig gives any hairstyle that high fashion edge with a straight cut fringe. I just love them all!

But tell me, what are your essentials?

Rogue!

If you haven't already heard, talented MDM writer and (now) superior graphic designer, Aislin Victory, is releasing her very own fashion line!

As I said, beachy!

Rogue Electric Boho, the first collection, is due to be issued this Summer. Although tonnes of fashion lines are created and shown on Stardoll every year, I have a good feeling about this one. It seems special, and different. A lot of the lines we see try too hard to be different or edgy, where as Aislin's seems casual, laid back, fun and chilled. I hope the finishing product turns out as good as I expect!

The Edge Of Glory Make up tutorial!

I just watched the newly released video for Lady Gaga's song "The Edge Of Glory", and I must say I am quite shocked. It's very toned down and quiet compared to some of Gaga's other videos. If you haven't seen it yet, watch this;

 

Awesome, right? I really liked her make up in the video, so I thought I would take a shot at doing a tutorial. Here goes!

Step 1; Change your hairstyle so that you can see all
of your face and "remove" your eyebrows.

Step 2; Apply Liquid Eyeliner to

the TOP OF THE EYE ONLY.

Step 3; Apply Black Eye Kohl to the top of the eye and using Black Eyeshadow, make two small inverted "arcs" underneath your eyes, this is a tricky step so perseverance may be needed. Go over them a few times to make them as dark as you can.

Step 4; Apply a rosy shade of Red Lipstick.

Step 5; Style your hair in a short black bob, and add in some blonde at the front.

And there you have it! A Gagalicious doll in 5 easy steps!

Now, I'm pretty sure you're all know who the fashion goddess, role model, inspiration, classy blogger, hard working, all round amazing girl, also known as noelle_page is, if not, then boo you!


Noelle is one of Stardolls many legendary users. A member since mid-2007, Noelle never fails to get the MeDoll's hyped, whether it's by using her fashion skills or blogging powers.

Upon visiting Miss Page's Suite, I came across this beauty of an outfit;

If you ask me, Noelle used the Tangled hair perfectly. Her outfit shows minimal effort but a high rating of WOW factor. The way she has mixed bronzes and beiges to create an all round beach-y look is glorious!

Once a genius, always a genius.

As I was casually browsing through the Starplaza earlier today, I noticed this little outfit in the NEW section...

It seems as though Stardoll is finally pushing the boundries and giving us the option to buy clothing made out of animal flesh. Not bad, huh? I for one won't be buying the outfit, I think the skirt is an awkward length and wearing raw meat isn't really my thing. How about you?

Beach Villa (LEAK)

Yesterday, Mette.Stardoll gave the members of the Royalty Club a sneak preview of the new "Beach Villa" feature which is coming soon to Stardoll. I thought (because I love my followers) that I would share this sneak preview with you all!

Not bad, huh? Mette also states that the Beach Villa will be at a "special introductory price", so there goes our hopes of it being free. I will probably still buy it though, as long as it isn't TOO expensive. I mean, c'mon, who doesn't want their own private beach? Even if it is just on Stardoll!

Leather is a gorgeous material, from boots to jackets and bags to well...anything really!

As I was browsing Stardoll, I happened to stumble across this superb ensemble...

This beautiful outfit was put together by a good friend of mine, lulla96. The way she combined leather, denim and chains is just perfection. A little tattoo on the leg really spices up this look, giving it a slight edge, and the make up suits perectly!

Recentley, talented designer bluegreen86 has been busting out the shades and flip flops, and getting in the mood for the Spring/Summer season ahead!
